HAVE YOU BEEN CALLED BY ROSE?

If so, you are about to enter a relationship with a plant of almost unparalleled depth, power, and significance.

Rose is one of the few plants that is indigenous to multiple, far-flung parts of the world. Europe, North America, and most of Asia, all have native species of Rose.

And in all these disparate places, across millennia, Rose has been revered as sacred. Persian, Sufi, Indigenous, Christian, and Ayurvedic traditions have all honoured her as a holy plant, as an emblem of the divine feminine and masculine, and a tonic for the physical, emotional, and spiritual heart.

Very few plants have that kind of reach. Even amongst other master plants, Rose is unparalleled in both her medicinal versatility, and her association with love.

ROSE'S MEDICINE

Rose calls people who need the unique healing she facilitates, and that’s often in the realm of relational love. But actually, her power and potential extends beyond that. Ultimately, she will work with your intention, and give you exactly what you need. Every diet with her is different.

LOVE:

Rose is most famous as a heart medicine, and many people come to her for this. She works with heartbreak and trauma from deep, repetitive wounding that has not healed. The causes can be betrayal, neglect, and abuse. Often, it's all of them. She heals the heart and then opens it, welcoming in new, healthier models of love.

PROTECTION:

Plants with thorns have the medicine of protection. Rose cultivates strong energetic boundaries, and helps you formulate a powerful "No." Rose wants you to be handled with respect and care. No one grabs a rose.

SEXUALITY:

Rose holds the medicine of healthy sexuality. She can work with sexual trauma and shame, gently inviting safety and softness back into sexuality. At the same time, she can balance sexual energy: reconnecting you with sensuality in its purest form.

PHYSICAL HEALTH:

Rose petals contain compounds like gallic acid, quercetin, and kaempferol, which combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammation in the body. Rose has been used to alleviate digestive issues. Studies suggest that rose extract may aid in digestion and relieve constipation. She also helps to relieve pain, and balance hormones, particularly in women.
