When it comes to divination, the Tarot is, undisputedly, the most widely known form of cartomancy. Personally, though, I’ve never connected with it.
The Tarot explores the broad journey of the soul, which can make it amorphous and open to interpretation. As someone with a tendency to be ungrounded, I needed something more direct and concrete.
Luckily, I discovered Lenormand back in 2007.
Lenormand is a series of 36 cards that carry imagery from every day life. While the Tarot is subtle, Lenormand is blunt. It’s the “no bullshit” form of divination. It cuts through ambiguity and gets to the heart of the matter; offering clear answers, and actionable guidance for how to move forward.
This is an incredibly grounded method of divination that, many agree, is much more accurate than Tarot.
